People ask me all the time how do I find the time and motivation to work out 💕 the answer is simple: I go back to my true self and figure out what is it that I can slightly control and call my own? …💕My body (physical and spiritual) with it’s amazing abilities. We were put on this Earth with one true and real piece of property and it’s the most valuable piece of real estate as it’s the only thing we’ll truly “own”. So why not invest and take care of it? What can possibly be more important than that? 💕Everything will eventually escape us including our youth but if I tell you that by working out the aging process can be significantly slowed down and the risk of all-cause mortality remarkably reduced? 💕Would you still ignore one of your body’s natural desire to move and stay active? 💕With just 7h/week of moderate physical activity the mortality risk decreases by 24%. 💕Keep that in mind next time you’ll decide to skip the most important meeting of the day – YOUR WORKOUT SESSION!
Become more pound wise and less penny foolish
“Tune out the negative!” When dwelling over an outcome you miss the game! We don’t really have any control over our lives as much as we want to think we have. Achieving a goal is great but it only results in a momentary change. On the other hand, a well planned system will assure an improved & more content life. Show up, work hard, learn, share your knowledge through teaching, take life with the good and the bad and repeat as this amazing journey will have a limited time stamp. Don’t associate with an outcome with unrealistic image with a specific end result, fall in love with process – because chances are eventually beauty will flee you, success will be temporary and keep getting up and keep moving forward.
“Movement offers us pleasure identity, belonging and hope. It puts us in places that are good for us to weather that’s outdoors in nature, in an environment that challenges us or with a supportive community. It allows us to redefine ourselves and reimagine what is possible. It makes social connection easier and self transcendence possible.
Physical activity stands out in its ability to fulfill so many human needs and that makes it worth considering as a fundamentally valuable endeavor. It is as if what is good in us is most easily activated by or accessed through movement.”
“Become an expert in efficient movement and create a habit that will forever be a part of your health routine. With a functional fitness routine you’ll keep your body moving efficiently throughout different stages of your life; prevent injury, improve balance and flexibility, build strength and improve your overall quality of life.”
Health and Fitness promoted through comparison can be demoralizing for some. Recognize what your own personal fitness goal is and work towards achieving that. There will always be someone stronger, leaner, more fit that outperforms you… yet they are not you and viceversa. Stay true to who YOU are and stir away from chasing vanity metrics. Focus on what your unique body is capable of and work to maintain or grow that through an active lifestyle.

What do you want to achieve from a fitness program? The unanimous response should always be: Overall healthy living!
“In times of uncertainty Consistency is key!”
“Pick the people around you that are going to hold you accountable to a higher standard not a lower standard that makes you feel better”
Don’t look for motivation find your way and do what it’s required regardless of thoughts or feelings. Don’t let any excuses come between you and your goals.
There’s power in what you tell your mind. Jones suggested the following anxiety-reducing affirmations:
My body is improving.
Suck it up now so you don’t have to suck it in later.
I’m focusing on my health every day.
My fitness is increasing each moment.
My health is important to me at this moment.
I have the right to develop a healthy body or any type of body that I wish.
I’m taking care of my body.
’m a work in progress.
I love my body.
I trust my body.
My body works with me and not against me.
The most powerful outcomes are delayed. Core reason why it’s so difficult to build habits that last. People make a few small changes fail to see a tangible result and decide to stop. You think I’ve been running everyday for a month so why can’t I see any change in my body. Once this kind of thinking takes over it’s easy to let good habits fall by the waste side. But I’m order to make a meaningful difference habits need to persist long enough to break through this plateau. The plateau of latent potential. If you find yourself struggling to build a good habit or break a bad one it’s not because you have lost your ability to improve it is often because you have not yet crossed the plateau of latent potential.
Complaining about not achieving success despite working hard is like complaining about an ice cube not melting when you heated it from 25 to 31 degrees your work was not wasted is just being stored. All of the action happens at 32 degrees. When you finally breakthrough the plateau of latent potential people will call it an overnight success. The outside world will only see the most dramatic event rather than all that proceeded it. But you know it’s the work you did long ago when it seemed you weren’t making any progress that makes the jump today possible. It is the human equivalent of geological pressure.2 tectonic plates can grind together for million of years the tension slowly building all the while then one day they run eachother once again in the same fashion as they have for ages and boom!
True long term thinking is goalless thinking.
Ultimately it’s your commitment to the process that will determine your progress
You don’t rise to the level of your goals you fall to the level of your systems.
Outcomes are about what you get
Processes are about what you do
Identity is about what you believe
The goal is not to reas a book the goal is to become a reader
The goal is not to run a marathon the goal is to become a runner
The goal is not to learn how to play an instrument the goal is to become a musician
You can either experience the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The choice is yours.”
“God doesn’t call the qualified He qualifies the called”
“The journey to perfection is not through the eyes of others is through your own eyes.”
Decide today to become a better version of yourself and realize it’s all about the journey not the destination.
Movement is life and to feel alive in the present movement is what this journey called life is all about!
It’s all about the journey not the destination…Small daily improvements are the key to impressive long term results.
Ever wonder what happens inside your body when you stop moving?
It ain’t good.
1 – BLOOD SUGAR / OXYGEN / MOOD CHANGES
Without movement, blood & oxygen flow significantly decreases to the entire body, and the brain pays an immediate price. Cognitive function decreases along with the feel-good neuotransmitters, leaving us feeling foggy, tired, and affecting our sense of well-being.In addition, blood sugar levels will stay elevated longer after consuming carbs. While this is totally okay in the short term, if this becomes a chronic occurrence with high levels of processed carb intake, it can lead to insulin resistance and eventually diabetes! The moment the muscles begin contracting again, we turn em back into sponges to soak up the sugar from our bloodstream for healthy muscles (and a healthy cardiovascular system) again!
*this is all a massive simplification, but you get the point.
2- ENDURANCE, MUSCLE, & STRENGTH LOSS After about 7-10 days of inactivity, your cardiovascular system begins to decondition.
After 2 weeks of inactivity, muscles begin to atrophy (get smaller). The body is very efficient and lives by the saying ‘if you don’t use it, you lose it. If it doesn’t need the muscle (because you aren’t moving), your body will cannibalize it. After about 3-4 weeks, the nervous system starts shutting off the ‘motor units’ that fire to your muscle groups, resulting in a loss of strength.
3- SWELLING! our lymphatic system is a series of one way valves that move AGAINST gravity. It has no pump like the heart does for the cardio system. So the lymphatic system piggybacks off of muscle contractions to move fluid throughout your body. When you stop contracting your muscles, the lymphatic fluid can’t move anymore, so gravity slowly pulls it down into your lower extremities which typically leads to uncomfortable swelling.
And we’re just getting started here, folks.
In short, movement is powerful medicine my friends 🙌🏼

“Your body is one of the best pieces of fitness equipment ever invented if you know how to use it properly. Mobility exercises using just your body’s own weight can create a variety of joint positions & motions to lengthen various muscles that can help stretch the muscles while also increasing neural activity, which is important for enhancing strength in workouts using external resistance. “
“You’re never going to change your body unless you decide to change something that you do on a daily level.“ the treasure you seek is often hiding in the daily routines in the work that we’re avoiding.“
Let’s dispel the notion that exercise needs to be hard or challenging all the time to be effective. Although it is necessary to push your body to work a little harder than what it’s used to see & make physiological changes the most important thing about getting results from exercise & healthy lifestyle is CONSISTENCY. Do a little something every single day, especially this mobility routine every morning to help reduce the risk of common injuries such as muscle strains or ligament sprains that can result from muscle imbalances. Even if these exercises seem difficult & maybe boring because they’re not designed to be at high intensity, it’s important to remain CONSISTENT with them because they can help establish the foundation of healthy & effective movement.
